Questar is a video production and distribution firm that distributes programming in the U.S. and 25 other countries. Their new corporate office design required the inclusion of executive offices, sales offices, video editing suites, an art department, a shipping area and video master archives facility.

Working closely with Questar’s executive team, NWD designed a modern corporate headquarters in a historic high-rise on Chicago’s Michigan Avenue. The design seeks to create movement, provide functional clarity, and hint at the firms film heritage. NWD worked closely with the general contractor to optimize the design within the budget and timeline constraints. The final product yielded a higher grade design product than would have been achieved by traditional construction methods.
