Jeffrey Roberts, Principal

The overseer of design and implementation at New World Design, Jeff provides a hands-on approach to all phases of a project. His background includes posts at the offices of O. M. Ungers in Berlin
and Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill in Chicago. Through this exposure and that obtained over the course of years in his own practice, he has developed a commitment to creating timeless and site contextual design solutions (indeterminate of scale). He is an advocate of hands-on, team-structured effort throughout the design and construction phase of projects. Over the course of his career Jeff has lent his expertise to projects globally, ranging from small affordable homes to complex high-rises.

Jeff continually works to expand his knowledge in the various aspects of design and planning by participating in seminars at Harvard University, the Urban Land Institute, and the Seaside Institute. He is also committed to sharing his knowledge and has served as an adjunct professor and guest critic at Miami University.

He is an active member of NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration Board), ALA (Association of Licensed Architects), ULI (Urban Land Institute), and the CNU (Congress for the New Urbanism). Jeff maintains professional registration in the states of Illinois, Delaware, and West Virginia and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
