A “comfortable neighborhood wine bar” was our Oak Park client’s primary request. The partners also required an uncluttered environment to display rotating works of local artists. The resulting design incorporates modern simplicity with rusticated elements to achieve both. An uninterrupted white painted masonry wall provides a location for large art pieces. Other areas of the interior incorporate reclaimed rusticated wood boards. The copper top of the bar is complimented by copper shaded fixtures above.
